Driving Directions from Seattle

Seattle is east of the Pacific Northwest Salmon Center and across the main basin of Puget Sound. There are two viable pathways to our organization from Seattle. One includes a memorable ferry ride across Puget Sound originating from downtown Seattle and off-loading in Bremerton. Once in Bremerton follow Highway 3 to Belfair. The ferry ride is approximately one hour long, and the continued drive to Belfair is approximately 30 minutes.

The other way to travel is to drive south on Interstate 5 from Seattle to Tacoma, and once in Tacoma exit from Interstate 5 onto Highway 16 going west. Highway 16 from Tacoma will take you across a high suspension bridge over a narrow portion of southern Puget Sound and onto the greater Kitsap Peninsula. The drive from Seattle and across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge to Belfair is approximately 80 minutes.
