Beginning last year, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife began to reach out to people across the state to gather perspectives on the priorities that should drive WDFW forward over the next several years. A recurring theme from community meetings was that many see the importance of RFEGs like the Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group.
Next month, WDFW will be presenting their proposals to the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission. Please take a moment to review the proposal and let the Commission know why HCSEG is important to you! In survey question #1- Let WDFW know that RFEGs are an important partner in restoring habitat and need funding to keep putting projects on the ground!
