We are honored to have on-going relationships with the Port Gamble S’Klallam Nation and the Skokomish Nation, located on the north and south ends of Hood Canal. Through these relationships, we have learned a great deal about our friends (who have lived in the area for thousands of years) and about ourselves as well.

Salmon are a Pacific Northwest icon and remain a primary food source to all communities. Accordingly, salmon have been the subject of many stories passed on from generation to generation.

Our relationships have been enriched in many ways, including our participation in annual canoe journeys, ceremonial activities, and potlatch.
