Music on the Estuary June 22nd!

Music on the Estuary (MOTE) takes place at the Salmon Center near to the Union River estuary. It is an all ages, half-day event filled with music, local vendors, games, food, and more. This year it is on Saturday, June 22nd from 1-8pm. Most importantly, MOTE is the Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group’s (HCSEG) annual festival to raise funds to build the Fishbowl Amphitheater. The Fish Bowl Amphitheater will be located at the Salmon Center by the estuary, and it will serve as an educational and recreational resource for the entire community. The amphitheater will be used for our science based education programs, which encourage environmental stewardship and promote an understanding of salmon and Pacific Northwest ecosystems. It will also serves as a space for concerts, festivals, speakers, and more. We are open to the needs of our community and hope this venue can be a valuable resource for those with an educational or environmental cause. However, the completion of the Fish Bowl Amphitheater relies heavily on the success of our annual MOTE festival fundraiser.
